MANTA, Sunreef 80 Power

A home that happens to travel.

Room to live together. Room to be apart.

One day at anchor

Before any numbers, a day aboard. Ten people on one boat, and room for each of them to do something different.

Toys out before breakfast

Tender, three seat jet ski and water toys come out of the garage at the stern.

Coffee goes forward

The galley opens straight onto the forward terrace, so the tray never crosses the saloon.

Lunch aft, in the shade

A second dining table outside, level with the saloon.

Everyone somewhere else

Someone reads on the flybridge, two talk at the aft table, the children are in the water. Nobody has to share the same afternoon.

Ten at one table

Then everyone comes back to the same table, inside, with windows all the way round.

The toys are refuelled at the garage station. The anchor stays down until you decide otherwise.

Arrange a viewing

Half as wide as she is long

That width is what makes the day possible. A monohull this length would be about six metres across, MANTA is twelve. It buys a saloon you can live in, a flybridge that works as a second living room and a garage that keeps the water close.

Who she suits, and who she doesn't

A good match

  • Owners who spend more of the season at anchor than under way.
  • A family whose children now bring their own friends.
  • A buyer who wants charter income as an option.

Probably too much boat

  • A couple who rarely brings guests. Five cabins is more than you will use.
  • A buyer tied to marinas built for monohulls. A 12 metre beam narrows the choice of berths.
